I hope you've had a calm, easygoing week that didn't require a lot of wine just to get through it (though I definitely think you deserve some anyway). But if you didn't, then maybe you're looking forward to Friday so much so you can throw on some comfy clothes and let your hair down this weekend!

This is the perfect look to achieve that. I wore this outfit the day after my law school prom, where I had been dressed up in a low-cut dress and heels all night. I definitely didn't want to be fussy the next day in any way!! Wearing a flowy black top, faux-leather leggings, flats, and a pop of color cardigan make things easier to look cute but still feel incredibly comfortable. My hair was leftover curls and the only reason I put on makeup was so that I didn't look like Casper for this photo shoot!

Fortunately, fellow content creator (and new friend) Jenn of Comme Coco (go check her out here or on instagram @commecoco) was in town with the gorgeous and wonderful (and other new friend) Teena (on Instagram @fashion4brkfast) and both offered to come over for a fun photo shoot!! I am so  happy to have two such amazing photographers near me, and I'm equally blessed that they're so much fun to work with! We had a great time on my block listening to Bruno Mars & Beyonce, dancing around the sidewalk, and watching Jenn run from the camera repeatedly as we did group shots (lol)!

On a slightly more serious note, it's such a blessing to work with such experienced content creators. These ladies are highly skilled, and just watching them/taking the camera/following their directives taught me a lot about photography and creation of new content that tells a story. They are both so great, and if you're in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, Jenn runs her own photography business, which you can follow at @jjphoto on Instagram! I can't emphasize enough that any fee is a worthwhile investment. I personally cannot wait to shoot with them again and make more great memories & content.
