It's Monday again!! (I know, I know, I shouldn't remind you.)
If you're facing down an office holiday party (like I was last week, and again this Friday!), you'll know the delicate balance it takes to look festive (but not toooooo too festive), pretty, and professional. Enter this navy and mixed-print combo!!
I think many people assume you have to wear red or green to be festive, and that's just not true! I love mixing in some fun, unexpected colors like navy and yellow (more of that later), because you'll not only be standout, but you'll manage not to feel like a walking Christmas tree.
I love the pretty, open pattern of this lace against the nude lining, and got a ton of compliments when I showed it on Insta a few months ago, as well as when I wore it to a state non-profit legal services dinner last Monday. It's comfy and pretty-and while the skirt is a liiiiiiiittle on the short side, the fact that this dress has a high turtleneck more than makes up for the skirt space missing below. (Pro tip: if you're planning to go with either a lower neckline or a short skirt for an office party, make sure that the other end isn't an issue, i.e. a longer skirt with a lower neckline or a higher neckline with a shorter skirt. Going short/low on both sides isn't office appropriate!)
Add in this pretty plaid blazer (a vintage piece I picked up on thrift) and a leopard clutch and it's a look for the ages that'll score you a lot of attention!
What are you wearing to the office holiday party? Tell me all about it in the comments below!
xoxo

I love, love, love this dress so much! I definitely need to add it to my closet since I don't wear nearly enough color (all black or tan for me, lol!) Thanks for sharing, love.
