Tonight we're starting the cutest little holiday dress guide!!! I live in dresses most days of the year, and the holiday season is no exception. But what dresses should you wear to your holiday party? That's where this guide comes in!

First up: Friendsmas!

If you've got a few friend parties on the horizon, this is the perfect look to get you through. Whether you and your buddies are eating your weight in turkey, decorating a tree, or going ice skating, putting on a comfy sweater dress is the way to look polished but still feel cozy. 

Confession time: I love the idea of sweater dresses, but I've never really found one in execution that I liked. My curves tend to hate the fact that sweater dresses are clingy in the stomach pooch areas but loose in the waist areas. Enter this fit-and-flare sweater dress dream for $30 from Target. Yes, THIRTY DOLLARS. I know. It's amazing. This dress is soft, comfy, and just the right length. It's short sleeve, which is a bit of a bummer for the colder climates, but it's easy enough to layer it up with a big, festive blanket scarf (worn around your neck or as a cape) and a pair of tights. Finish it off with a pretty bright red peacoat and you've got yourself a look that's holiday without being over the top!
