Speaking of play...

I got this skirt in the mail in my last Le Tote box and I was instantaneously in love with it! The midi length, the pleats, the weight of the fabric...so perfect. I was dying to pair it with this cute new cropped sweater I got but it's still slightly too warm!!

So what's a girl to do?

When I was at home over the summer, I went thrift shopping with my mom and found this AMAZING vintage bow tie in a small thrift store. I mean, how perfect is this sweet baby? I've been in a bow-tie-ready mood ever since I saw Kate Spade's fall '16 line photos waaaay back in early spring! And once I found this sweetheart (and another baby I'll be wearing soon), I knew exactly how I wanted to pair it.

This chambray shirt has been on the blog a few (million) times because it's the softest shirt I own, it's so comfy, and it pulls together a look easily. I decided to pair it with the bow tie for a fun spin on a menswear look. Adding neutral heels and a neutral color block purse brought this look together and brought the feminine back to the masculine.
